Becca Burton (she/her)

Becca is originally from Boston and has lived in Portland 35 years. She finds her center in a variety of ways: keeping journals, being outdoors, cooking and singing at my faith community. She graduated from Reed College and has worked in residential care for 25 years as a direct care staff. Along the way, she became a Peer Support Specialist to deepen her recovery process as a person living with mental illness. She is passionate about being a helper person, promoting hope, companionship, respect and autonomy. She is currently studying gerontology at PCC.
