Ahmed Yusuf (he/him)

Ahmed is a PSH Case Manager who splits his time between supporting clients, obsessing over his cats, and pretending his life is a dramatic stage production. When he is not hiking up real mountains, he’s climbing metaphorical ones with his team—usually while quoting musicals at wildly inappropriate moments.

He grew up in Arizona before moving to Portland to attend Lewis & Clark College, where he fell deeply in love with the Pacific Northwest and, more specifically, its trees. That love has turned him into the kind of person who wanders through Tryon Creek State Park wondering why there aren’t any new saplings—and then launches into an impassioned explanation about deer overbrowsing, dense canopy shade, and invasive plants. (Forest ecology is a personality trait now. he’s accepted it.)

Outside of work and woodland detective work, you can usually find him hiking local trails, sewing and making garments, or negotiating with his cats for a corner of the fabric table.
