Our Senior Center is Getting an Upgrade!
We're Temporarily Moving—Just Around the Corner!
Beginning September 14, the Community for Positive Aging will temporarily relocate to Rose City Park Presbyterian Church, just a few blocks from our current Center, while our building undergoes exciting energy-efficiency upgrades.
Thanks to a grant from the Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF), we're investing in improvements that will make our building more comfortable, sustainable, and resilient. The project includes new windows, solar panels, and other upgrades that will help us better serve older adults for years to come.
Good News—Most Programs Will Continue!
We've worked hard to minimize disruptions. Most classes, activities, support groups, and services will continue at our temporary location. A few programs will be paused during construction, and some in-person or hybrid classes will move online for a short time. We'll let participants know about any program-specific changes before the move.
